Mossberg 500 Road Blocker with a few add-ons.

Yes, I do realize that my side-saddle reload technique had a few flaws during this shoot. I have a bad habit of not keeping the shoulder stock in my shoulder, therefore leaving my right hand holding the entire weight of the weapon, letting the barrel drop down towards the dirt during tactical reload. I'm trying to break that habit. Anyway, not a "how to shoot" video, more of a "mossberg road blocker in action" video.

is that a muzzle break similar to the barret on the end of your gun?

@MrLAYER2009 yep. it's the Road Blocker version, so the muzzle break comes attached to the barrel. It's not a necessity by any means

@doverby does it help by any means with the recoil not that its bad but the recoil looks low in the vid

@1996TheRocketman It comes on the gun itself and, I believe, is proprietary (assuming you haven't found this out yourself. There's the 500 version, which is the pump, and then the 930 version, which is semi-auto.

Can you honestly tell much of a difference on the recoil and muzzle climb? The added weight and extra noise might not be worth the trade-off.

Next time, load from the top instead of from underneath. ie, bring your hand over the gun to load instead of from under.
