So damn good. Memories. Wow.

OMG his voice is still so high and clear!
This is the anthem of many a summer party in my teens... "I'm young, I'm wild and I'm free..."
Too bad this recording sucks cuz of all the drunks screaming "whoooo!" at odd times LOL But it's one of the best Rock-n-roll songs EVER.

@davehutchinson67 Kind of feel the same way now that I'm getting older. Good to see other folks watching, and still enjoying the music.

My friend spoke with Rik Emmett on a radio promo here in Chicago & made a good impression because "off air" Rick invited him & his 3 ticket holding friends (of which I was one) to come to their Hotel after the concert for the after-show party.
Because my friend was driving & 1 of the other ticket holders, his girlfriend, was complaining of a head-ache & whining that she didn't want to party, she wanted to go home That P-Whipped, no spine, wuss gave in to her and ALL OF US missed the party.

OMG! Rik got old.
Holy Crap! Just looked in a mirror. I got OLD!
Between performances at the Rosemont Horizon (Chicago Shows) and Alpine Valley, WI shows I saw these guys either 7, 8 or 9 times. Lost count somewhere in the fog of marijuana smoke that hung in the air. Those were damn good times!

This song gave me the freedom to love music so many years ago. So glad to have found this gem.

His music meant everything to me in the early/mid 80's. A unique talent that most people didn't understand or acknowledge in a sea of vanhalen type rock n roll.

@Midwestern72 I guess you never age, he looks great!

It's nice to see an old rocker who's kept it together and still sounds great. I saw Graham Bonnett a couple of years ago in Essen, Germany. It was pathetic. Good to see Rik still rocking. He looks and sounds great.

"Youth is lost on the young", as one very wise individual once stated. Did I know in the late 70's and early 80's just how good I had it, and how phenomenal the music of that era was? To a degree, I suppose. But now, at 41, I realize completely how absolutely wonderful those days were. I would GLADLY trade my internet access, my cell phone, the five million channels on TV, and all of the other "conviences" that make our lives so much better, to experience those times again.
