This is a brief glimpse of the knowledge of the younger generation of today's India. Who despite deep cultural roots know so very little of the great leaders of 1857 freedom struggle. It is reported that this silent warrior Raja Rao Tula Ram paid huge sums to delhi Durbar so that it could pay salaries to soldiers. he was one of the first to start tax system in this part of India. His decendants Rao Birender Singh former Agriculture minister of India and Grandson Rao Inderjit Singh Defence Minster for Production are leading Rao's to keep the philosphy and ideology alive via Mahinder Singh Grathi. Mahinder is heading the youth foundation of Rao Tula Ram. 2008.vj.tat

  • It is a shame for the youth of the country not to more then the street name of the great freedom fighter.

Rao Tula Ram was the king of Rewari and fought against the British in 1857 war of Independence in Haryana. His great grandson, Rao Birender Singh was the second Chief Minister of Haryana. Rao Inderjit Singh, son of Rao Birender Singh, is a MP from Gurgaon and was MoS for defence and External Affairs.
