A shooting demo of a Remington 700 VS 22-250 incorporating the SmartStock Accuracy System. This is a demonstration of the accuracy that can be obtained by the tuning of the harmonic vibrations of the barrel of a rifle. The SmartStock forearm mounted barrel tuner allows the shooter to match the ammunition being used to obtain the best accuracy possible. The rifle is a factory Remington 700 VS in the .22-250 Win. cartridge. It is equipped with a Bell and Carlson Medalist varmint stock with the SmartStock Accuracy Tuning System installed inside the forearm. The tuner was placed in the center of its travel adjustment for the first target and was then adjusted 5 turns rearward for the second target. Then it was adjusted seven turns forward for the third target. Because the group opened up nearly double it was obvious that I was adjusting in the wrong direction. So I adjusted the tuner ten turns backward and shot the fourth target. a 0.195 m.o.a. group. Once you have tuned your rifle to your smallest group simply adjust your scope to the desired impact point. The time taken for adjustment of the tuner between the shooting of each target was edited to shorten the length of the video. You can find more information on the SmartStock Accuracy System at::
