"Packages" like these were shown in between the main programming on the classic Disney Channel back in the 1980's and early 90's.
Eric Boardman would take viewers on educational tours of Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and other aspects related to the Walt Disney Company and interview those who were "in the know" within the organization.
Back in the channel's better days, instead of commercials for shows you've seen a thousand times, they showed these types of packages. They were meant to educate, entertain, and inspire kids (like myself!) to be creative and perhaps even to work for The Mouse one day.
This was recorded on July 17, 1990 as part of the programming celebrating Disneyland's 35th anniversary. My apologies for the line down the left side of the frame. I couldn't remove it. If anyone knows how, let me know! :)
Enjoy!
I always adored these Disney Channel segments. You actually learned things. I think the only thing the Disney Channel teaches today is "buy this teeny bopper's CD!"

You know what?, The world would have more " Boardmen ", If More of us Disney Fans like me would do a Disney Channel withdrawal. Like, If EVERY Disney Fan in America like me would treat Today's Disney Channel like it's DINO ( Disney In Name Only) by changing the channel off of it until they do shows like this again, then Maybe that would be a step towards making Disney benefit from the institution and the traditions that they created like in the 1980s and 1990s.

It seems the old classic Disney Channel really was better than it is now. The modern Disney Channel relies too heavily on teeny-bopper shows like Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers.
