"The Gap" - Piha, New Zealand

20110917 - At the south end of the beach in Piha there is a walking track that takes you up to the top of the cliffs and beyond, to "The Gap". There, the huge swells rolling in from the Tasman Sea and southern ocean slam their way through a gap in the cliffs, creating a lot of noise and dramatic show of crashing waves and sprays of water.
