Dolphins at Kolmården, Sweden

I visited Kolmården Zoo last week. It's the only place in Sweden where you can see dolphins. And as my friends know I LOVE dolphins! Well, I decided to film them and add some music. I couldn't find a better song than Under The Sea from The Little Mermaid. But I needed another song for the credits (call it what you want) and the first song I found in my computer was Love from Robin Hood. I thought like "whatever" :P

You may think "keeping dolphins like this is wrong", but believe me, I've been back-stage and met the dolphins and their trainers. They showed me the pools, and if I remember correctly, they has three pools. Two larger, one where they has all the shows (it holds 9 million litres), one where you can see the dolphins under-water (don't know exactly how large it is but it's large), and one smaller made for stuff like examinations or something. This is not animal cruelty! I've seen MUCH worse.

Gotta tell you about one time when we went to the dolphinarium, this February. It was when I met the dolphins. Well, we were in a place where you can see the dolphins under-water. I wanted to film them just because they're so adorable. So we started filming. While we were standing there a dolphin named Luna approached us with a ball in her mouth. She stopped right in front of the camera and then she started to bounce the ball a few times with her lower jaw. That was the cutest thing ever! Sadly, we had just borrowed the camera and we returned it right after I had uploaded the clips on my computer. But then the computer just died and eveything on it disappeared, including the clip. Isn't it sad?

Det blir alltid så "suddigt" och dålig sikt när jag försöker filma i lagunen, men det här var ju jättebra :D

Jag har varit nära delfinerna på kolmården :) Då var Sting och Fenah små, så söta. Och jag håller med om att de har det bra! Träffade deras tränare, och de vet verkligen vad de pratar om :) världens bästa jobb har dem iaf :D

minns den tiden för några år sedan när det inte var markooli o showen!!!..... jag besöker ju kolmården varje sommar. och nu bor min BÄSTA VÄN där! :DD deras delfinkalv Fenah! xD haha.

@cheezah We evolved by our own choice. Why would you ever think that "forced evolution" is okay? We should allow nature to let the dolphins evolve the way they are intended to. Not by OUR design. To attempt domestication now, when we know they are sentient, self-aware, intelligent, and complex, I think is just cruel. Funktionslust states that animals desire to use their natural abilities and get joy out of them.
