This is the cat that just walked straight into our house right after Maddy (our pet cat) was walking in for her food.

I didn't even notice it was behind Maddy until I closed the door and it tried to get back out.
I opened the door again to let it out and it didn't want to go!!
Maddy ate her food as we lured the stray back outside.
The cat didn't want to eat any of the food we tried giving it. We assumed that it was someone elses cat but they neglected to put a collar on it, seeing as if it were a stray it would probably eat whatever we give it.

This cat is also the infamous "Racoon Bandicoot Cat" That Gene (housemate) so freakishly named.

(story: Gene was putting out the rubbish and then suddenly ran in screaming "AAAAH! RACOON BANDICOOT CAT!! RACOON BANDICOOT CAT!!!" as it had jumped out from behind the bins scaring him back inside.)

We now call this cat "Racoon"

  • Did you keep her/him?

  • It's a he. And no :) we suspect he is one of the neighbours cats as he won't eat any of the food we try to give him.

  • I hope you took in the cat because stray are REAL LOVING you be saving a life an in return you get a life time of love. =^..^=

  • My sweet kitty "IGI" looks like a racoon! Maybe she is his sister??? Ha ha impossible...she lives in Italy!!

  • I just wanted to let you know, cats shouldn't wear collars unless they are break-away.

  • What a cute cat. Whatever happened to the cat? ^-^

  • hahah is it trying to woo Maddy your pet cat?

  • maybe someone dumped him. people do that when they don't want their cats sometimes dogs

  • He seems to be very friendly. I remember I had a stray female stop by my house once. (kept on stealing my cat, Mr., food all the time though) I found out later that she was pregnet and gave birth to four kittens in my backyard. It drove my mom nuts though because now I had to deal with six cats that only came and were friendly to me. :)

  • haha. I guess it's because you told me the other day, but you do sound somewhat American...Hehe, sorry >.>. But don't worry I can also hear the Aussie accent hehe. Sweet cat though ^________^
