WWF Italy get funds from African deforestation carried by Vasto Legno (SEFAC) - Summary

A new scandal is involving the WWF! A video-exclusive report shows that the WWF Italy is making its funding from deforestation in Cameroon. By starting from 50000 euros this year a partnership with the Vasto Legno (an Italian company), it is accomplice of the cut of the last virgin forests and the destruction of the last African Pygmy peoples. Vasto Legno is the exclusive importer of wood from deforestation, often illegal, operated in Cameroon by SEFAC. The WWF has become an official partner of this company, repeatedly fined for illegal cutting, abuse on pygmies and employees, making over its brand. In this way, the WWF is powering a greenwashing, providing a clean and distorted image of the work of Vasto Legno and SEFAC on its website COMPANIES FOR THE FORESTS (impreseperleforeste.wwf.it). WWF so shows to do not be a true environmental organization and to obtain its funds from the destruction of the last virgin forests!
