(Talking) If everything that the Roman Catholic Church
taught were true, what difference would it make in our lives
We believe that in every single mass,
through the power of the Holy Spirit,
that the bread and the wine are transformed
into the flesh and the blood of Jesus

Transubstantiation
Heaven kisses earth
We become a living tabernacle

So wisdom, be attentive
Steady my shaken mind
Let this be my reality
More than just bread and wine

This is the end and the beginning
This is the eighth day of creation
One with the saints and angels
In our song of thanksgiving

Revelation
History shows the love
Of the ancient Father
For His one and only Son

Jesus, I am not worthy
I am a broken man
But only say the word
And I shall be healed again

This is the end and the beginning
This is the eighth day of creation
One with the saints and angels
In our song of thanksgiving

(Talking) If indeed what I am saying is true,
and this is what the Church says,
then our hearts need to start burning
with a deeper understanding of who and what
this Eucharist is

Holy is the Lamb
Holy is the Lamb

This is the end and the beginning
This is the eighth day of creation
One with the saints and angels
In our song of thanksgiving

  • As one who came to Christ Jesus and by his grace had the courage to leave the Church (With the blessing of my Lifeteen Priest who was truly born again and wanted to leave the cult [he was told by the Holy Spirit to stay and Take the truth back to the Church, he did not believe in False doctrines found in the Church such as Transubstantiation or the worship of the "Saints"]) I can say this Many of Matthews songs are good too bad he has some Idolatrous ones like this and the Litany of the saints.

  • @MenechemShaul how is he wrong?? he's talking about the Eucharist. and everything in the song is what we (Catholics) believe in.

  • They abstain from the Eucharist and from prayer, because they confess not the Eucharist to be the flesh of our Saviour Jesus Christ, which suffered for our sins, and which the Father, of His goodness, raised up again. Those, therefore, who speak against this gift of God, incur death in the midst of their disputes.

-- Ignatius of Antioch, Epistle to Smyrnaeans (c. A.D. 110).

  • menechemshaul's trolling!!!!! ignore the bs!!!XD

  • @katieslifesong You are twisting the word of Christ and on top of that your cult does not follow his words but puts its own twisting and interpretation on the WORD OF GOD! I know this because your cult teaches that the Word of God is in the words of men in other words you are not to take the word of God literally despite what the Word of God teaches! You are in grave error if you think anything else! Repent and call on the name of the LORD and you will be saved!

  • @katieslifesong I am having a hard time understanding how ignorants like yourselves can twist Scripture! I am not having a hard time understanding anything about what I have posted or made a rebuttal to on matts video! Tell me Why do you celebrate Good friday when Matthew 12 and Daniel 9 make a strong argument for a Mid week Sacrifice of Messiah? There were two Sabbaths that week the Sabbath for Unleavened bread and the Sabbath of the week.

  • @katieslifesong Well said Katie. Menechemshaul is having a hard time understanding the word of God. You can't fill a cup that is already full. But Catholics neither interpret the word of God as strictly literal or strictly metaphorical. We do both. Jews have a long standing history of idolatry, but for the life of me, can't make out what is idolatrous in this song. As any God fearing man should do, is not question God's power. I don't question why God gave me Jesus for my sake, I just thank Him

  • @katieslifesong John 6 is a direct reference of being submissive not to be cannibals! Stop twisting the Word of God!

  • @stud1400 Transubstantiation is the worshiping of an Idol! Christ never instituted cannibalism rather a Memorial. Saying that you represent his sacrifice is saying that you are re-offering it and thus this goes against Hebrews 9-10. Furthermore this doctrine did not come around until Pope Innocent III. I love how Catholic seminaries (I was in one) say that the Word of God is the Word of God in mans words and that we are not to take scripture literally and yet you always take this literally!

  • @MenechemShaul There isn't anything here that is in worship to an idol. Catholics don't worship Mary or the saints. They worship the God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. To suggest anything otherwise is wrong and against what Catholics believe. This is a beautiful song. The gospels are clear. Unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood you will not have everlasting life. That's why the Eucharist is important to Catholics. It allows us to share in what Christ intended for us.

  • Best Song Ever!!!

  • @MenechemShaul He did however have to bow a bit and put a small thing at the back as he was being threatened to be turned into the Bishop. Thankfully he made it clear that Mass is to do with God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), The word and the LORD's table. He also preached that we only need Christ Alone for Salvation (Which is entirely Biblical and against the Cults teachings) and the Myth of these 'Sacramental Graces' go against the Word of God. There is one form of Grace only!
