Different types of action, my friend. You can't compare those two games. The action in KH2 was designed to be physically impossible. This was designed to be more believable.... not necessarily realistic, but believable.

I never liked Emma, it was annoying how she always pushed Rush out of the way and etc.
I didn't like her from the start even.. Don't care that she died :P

That dude has an epic fighting style, his huge size makes him non-acrobatic unlike her, yet he still dodges and pwns her with minimal movement.

I like the way he kills the one of you faceless pawns so gursomely that it fades to black....or at least thats what i like to think.

That, and anyone who played the game could see this coming about a mile away. She actually says at one point, "I swore to meet someone here when they come back from a journey, if I'm not around to meet them would you do it for me?"

They tried way too hard to make this scene look cool. The flow was completely off, they could have done something about music or camera positions, or make it look like anything other then a level 1 critter fighting a level 100 monster. Yeah, she got a lucky hit in, but even that was weaksauce they added to try and make it look cooler.
