well in relation to our co2 output our methan output is very small thats why methane havnt played a big role in climachange yet but methane is also a ozon killer and it destroys our "ozonshield" dunno the exact word for it^^
i got those 2% out of some researchpapers
and they 5 of those guys in this paper said a number between1.5 and 2.7% co2
is caused by humans
so i just altered it to 2%
and those 2% only show that human influence of the co2 output of our earth is only small scale

2% of this cup of water is filled with cyanide, therefore it won't hurt me. Saying only 2% of the CO2 in the atmosphere is human made does not mean it has no effect. 2% of the entire volume of gas in the atmosphere is billions and billions or trillions and trillions of tons. Furthermore, where did you get 2%? We produce a lot more gases than just CO2, methane from all the cattle we grow is a worse greenhouse gas than CO2, not to mention other things from burning coal/chemical production.

@TheRolemodel1337 its called blinking

@Grundalizer I was thinking the same thing

im only speaking about the role of CO2, which was emitted by humass,in climachange.
and thats just a small part
ofc there are effects from air pollution etc
but CO2 cant be counted as a pollution :p
because its everywhere around and humans only emit 2% of the world CO2 output
-
u need to get ur facts straight my friend. also, there are much more hazardous air pollutants such as NOx or methane which are much more damaging to the environment than CO2
-
they just present their data that way that we believe its our fault that clima changes
you can earn money with that shit :)
and in media you only get to know the information found out by 1 side of the researchers
you never hear of the others
there are many researchers who believe its not a human made phenomen because changing clima can be observer in deep icelayers and there you can see that changes like the one we are into came across every 20000 years~
they earlier ones cant be humanmade
-
yeaaa.. so all the reasearchers just made a mistake in calculating? and u did it right co ur so smart and differend than others?
-
It still puts the total concentration of CO2 above the thresholds natural carbon sinks(oceans and plants absorb part of it), effectively pushing up the atmospheric concentration consistently.
The increasing amount of CO2 is undeniably of human origin, and there's a lot of evidence showing CO2 is related to the current warming trends(and in the past).

The University of Nottingham looks like one hell of a good school.
