Toronto-based anti-war activists confront Liberal Leader Stephane Dion and Foreign Affairs Critic and by-election candidate Bob Rae on the extension of Canada's involvement in the war in Afghanistan.

The Liberals are poised to support Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper's extension of Canadian troops in Afghanistan until 2011 on March 13, 2008.

@Yeyito50 Our soldiers are there by choice, they singed up for that job knowing they might go into Afghanistan. It was their choice, no one made them join the military, no one forced them. It was their passion to go help save the suffering people in Afghanistan, bring peace to their country. the kids there love them they are doing so much for that country. I got privileged enough to meet a solider, he was excited to get there and help out the people in need.

Our soldier suffer. The people in afghanistan suffer. War never helps it just makes it worse.

The war in afghanistan is not the solution to their problems. The reason that theres troops is that they have some sort of interest in the area like petrolium. As you may know afghanistan is one of the most corrupt countries in the world. When they have problems they instead of going to the police they go back to talibans. The war makes things even worse. The only way that we can help is by changing their instetutions, destroying curuptcy. Our soldiers could die because of our "help".take action
