  • You reckon Tim went to his local barber and said "Gimme the Ray Davies".........but haircuts aside he's up there with Davies, Westerberg or anyone else you care to name. God bless his socks!

  • This 60's sound was sooo 90's! Miss it... used to be great to dance to and it was cool to be a dag!

  • great song ...... horrible haircuts.

  • i heard Dools play this for Merrick's farewell on Nova 969. touching and fitting song

  • No, no, no. Wrong video. Should have been a better representation of the song, and the record. Glossy fashionista chicks? Gloss of any kind? The song and album sang and strang of Australian innercity life circa mid-90's. The album cover did a better job of it. Terracotta, not PVC.

  • The Kinks And Beatles with Teenage Fanclub and Weezer

    =)

  • @meadish In your defense on the dvd commentary on the cream and the crock tim andy and rusty admit its not a great clip, definitely not one of their best, i think you'd struggle to say many clips were better for the one for what i dont know about you but thats just me.

  • Came back here again to respond to your comment. Have listened to the actual song several times since though. Brilliant song, but that doesn't change the fact that the video is crap. Be happy.

  • @meadish why cause they're all bald and gay????? not the best vid ever but still if ya don't like it close your eyes:)

  • @brenrob85 Sound advice that I actually took even before reading it - I only came back now to respond to you. Rock on.

  • @meadish just don't watch the vid

  • I didn't realize a video could completely ruin the experience of listening to a great tune, but after having watched this one as well as the one to Heavy Heart I now know that it is possible. Nothing about this video enhances or captures the mood of the song. The brilliance of Rogers' lyrics is that they come off as temporary windows into a person's life, this video just doesn't "get it" - it looks like it was made for Right Said Fred or something.
