They have a breakout box now, maybe they can send you one for free...!!??

@seifs4 nope i talked to apogee and they said the unit was not working properly and i got a full refund, this was for use on the go, but since i am familiar with presonus fire pod, i just got a fire studio mobile, and works way better.

@rickytrix do you still have it? maybe it just took some more reading, alot of people just go into using stuff now a days and forget that the producers made instructions for a reason......

@seifs4 prefer firewire interfaces
-
@rickytrix it obviously doesn't suck if its a world renown interface, your the only one I've seen having problems. maybe you don't understand how too use it?

@bchamorro because di boxes change the signal to match a guitar's impedance. That's PARTIALLY why a lot of software amplifiers never really have a good dynamic response. The tone is there, but the feel isn't. Although, the new GTR3 update and Overload TH2 that just came out do a goddamn amazing job at capturing the real feel and tone of the amps modeled. The ONE is cheap, I wouldn't imagine it having matched impedance or good a/d/a converters.
I thought DI's were used to change LINE level to MIC level.

@charlieplatnum exactly, since the cheap breakout cable replace twice by apogee and 1/4 input don't work, tha's why i use a DI
