@novarza Respectfully, you couldn't be more wrong. Many Europeans are multilingual because there are many different languages spoken in Europe, one of which is English. That's because there are many English speaking countries in Europe (England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland, to name a few). Also, English is the official language used by the European Union, something the U.S. has nothing to do with. He's right, it's embarrassing, and it is good to learn other languages. That's all.
