Like how expensive? It won't be a huge problem for me cause I'm bumming it and takin everything I have in a van like I'm some old hippie xD but it'd be good if I knew the general cost of shelter, food etc.

Room75: I sort of agree. There are tons of things to do on the island if you join a group or something. But you are right a lot of things are very expensive I'm going to college there and it was a real bitch trying to find a reasonable price on an apartment.

I was in Oahu in feb. of this year. It was a life changing trip. Everything about Hawaii is beautiful. The land and especially the people. Nicest people I have ever met. I plan on taking my 2 kids there next year.

Hawaii is beautiful and yes i do agree kinda agree with you that theres not alot of thing to go on hawaii but no matter what hawaii is my home and its not terrible to live. I finally relized it when i had to move away from hawaii. It my not have no disney land or theme parks but theres always something to do and always a place to go. Its my own opinion and i dont mean to offend you but ever since i moved away from hawaii all i want to do know is move back
