Acer Aspire 9302 (Laptop) - Blank Screen

Problem : Blank screen, fans turning on but for 5 seconds and then nothing.

Acer products sucks,don't buy their computers,even if it's cheap !!! If someone know how to fix it, please tell me !!!

Problèmes : Ecran noir, ventilateurs qui tournent pendant 5 secondes puis plus rien

Les produits Acers sont pourris, n'achetez pas leur produits,même si ça coute pas cher !!!! Si quelqu'un a déjà eu ce problème et a pu le réparer, Dites-le moi je suis preneur !!!

EDIT : I finally brang it to a repair center. (too lazy to translate everything, sorry)

@striker543211 Try to boot with F11 or F12 (I don't remember which one, I have another one now) during startup and choose your HDD. If you can't see any Hard drive, that mean your hard drive is probably dead. If it's not, go to the bios and set the boot priority to the HDD.

Well everyone,I didn't solve this and the guarantee was already expired since may 2008. And BTW, i'm sorry if i respond only now because ive totally forgotten this video until now (because everyone said the computer is dead and i have to do with it...) but i won't give up !

I already tried reseating the RAM but it didn't worked. I'll test removing the cmos battery and say if it worked or not

I agree, acers sucks ass. mine got a bluescreen the first day, couldn't return it for some messed up reason

I have an Acer Aspire 5630 working just fine for years now, bought 2nd hand. I love my Acer but i'm keeping an eye out for an upgrade when I better one comes along.

That is probably power on lan, what you activated when holding down the power button and the wifi comes on. Not sure but maybe the ability to update the bios. The laptop might turn on when you plug it in because you don't have a battery in it. I don't know how old it is but acer laptops today are higher quality. Back then, yea they could of been a pos.
