H. A. A. G. gaming expos (2005-2006)

Montage of two H. A. A. G. (Houston Area Arcade Group) expos, having video and pinball games from the 1930s (!) through the present, although most games are from the classic 1980s era.

Sorry a lot of the photos came out looking blurry--they weren't originally, that's just the way YouTube resizes things :( --please see the articles for how they REALLY came out!

if like arcade exops go to san jose cal aug 11-12 for cax :) and there have tons of laser disc games

I recall going to my nearby pizza place just to play that interstellar laser disc game and thought the 50 cent price to play was expensive! I used to go with my nephew (this was years before getting hitched and all!) and we'd have a great time as we loved gaming before it was cool. Loved Starcastle in the day. That song is pretty good, too. I have one Rage song uploaded about Stephen King's book (and movie) Christine called "She."

You weren't missing much on Interstellar (surprised you know of it though!), it was a watered down Xevious, looked great but wasn't as good. Yeah, it was nice playing Starcastle for the first time in over 15 years (months ago) on a real machine!

Yeah, I was WONDERING about that Rage tune, I thought "is that about a car?" :)

That and the Texas Pinball Expo, I think that it's called, that several of the H. A. A. G. guys also have a yearly gathering for as well. That's all I know of here in Houston, at least!

I saw Joust 2 once "in the day", and at that last expo. Kind of an unusual sequel, never did get what the deal was with making your bird gigantic...?

Too obvious :) And I have never seen a Joust 2 game in person. Thankfully I have midway treasures :)
