First start after rebuild and conversion to MSII with ITB's.

MS and ignition are both not tuned yet, exhaust isn't on it except for the downpipes.

This is just what the engine did after setting the constants and with the crude AFR and VE tables MS made with my engine specs.

  • @Martijnus do u kno wut kind of power ur getting vs the mech inj that came on it? i used to have a 81 924 i miss it, u should put up a vid of the car running down the road, sounds good

  • Sounds like an outboard motor for a boat when its idling...

  • thats how my 924 sounded before i replaced the shot exhaust

  • =) cheers m8 had a feeling it might be a bit of a mission to figure out but still i think im gona brave it and jump in :)

  • I like MS a lot. I've got a MSII v3 unit... there are several different ones available. Can't tell you exactly what's the best choice.

Advantage of MS is that you can easily modify it yourself, compared to machine-assembled ECUs.

Tuning is nasty though... you're able to modify so much things, which makes it really complicated, but interesting.

    Carbs are easier ;)
