His recording of the Schubert Wanderer Fantasy is incredible! All in all, this Carmen version is also astonishing as well.
Obviously this was at least 20-25 years ago, as I think "puffy" shirts went out of style!

His piano lacks the "nasal" sound of Horowitz's. He's also not as talented as Horowitz was at 70.

I like how he speeds up at the end to compensate after not even coming close to Horowitz in the alternating chords.
