yeah. but 6 figure is different than one million. esp when it's in the low 6 figures (100k) and spread out over much longer than a year. it basically let's the UFC create stars and lock in a cheap deal once they're stars. brilliant business, yet morally suspect. you should reward those that help you, not find a way to fuck em

They still make as much for ONE fight as I could make ALL YEAR at 40 HR. A WEEK!That is over 2,000 labor hr.They make as much in 15 min. and sometime don't even fight! It is the chance of a lifetime!I would fight anyone on the face of the planet in an mma match for what they get! They feel the same way as well!

'one fight' isn't just 15 minutes of work. it's months of training and sacrifice. 40 bucks an hour = 83k. a tuf fighter makes far less than that. check the salaries. the initial deals i read were spread out 3 years, at 100k. i don't think that's changed. that's 33k a year, split amongst your corner/camp. NO one gets rich in the ufc unless they become stars. other major sports has a few hundred K as minimum wage. ufc wants the pinnacle title, but won't pay like it.

33k is still more than I've ever made in a year working 40 to 50 hr weeks.40 per hr?Not around here, not many jobs. These guys would be flipping burgers for 15,000 per year without TUF.But I do agree the payscales are low all around in the UFC compared to the profits.
