  • I'm looking into getting a 13" macbook pro. Does anyone know how well this computer would run multiple programs at once? Or how many programs can be installed on it, such as Final Cut Pro, Flash, Photoshop, etc.?

  • The new MacBook pro line is sufficient for most apps (programs) including professional ones like Final Cut Pro, Logic, Aperture, Adobe Flash, PhotoShop, Dreamweaver. Since it has the NVidia 9400m graphics, it's a huge difference from integrated Intel graphics. the 9400m is still an integrated graphics chip, but it performs like a dedicated graphics, and blows the Intel graphics out of the water. I have the Intel Macbook (black) ,and it suits my needs. It's really fast for everything i do.

  • i have an aluminuim macbook 2.0ghz with 4gb ram

    its works like charm

  • Cool! So the 9400m handles it pretty well?

  • well it dont lag or anything but i just dont know how to use it.

  • ok that's cool though

  • @XxSerisierxX According to Apple's website, these are the system requirements for Final Cut Studio: Mac computer with an Intel processor

1GB of RAM (2GB of RAM recommended when working with compressed HD and uncompressed SD sources; 4GB of RAM recommended when working with uncompressed HD sources)

ATI or NVIDIA graphics processor (integrated Intel graphics processors not supported)

    128MB of VRAM

Display with 1280-by-800 resolution or higher

Mac OS X v10.5.6 or later

    QuickTime 7.6 or later
