... But what if going on those tours motivated people to contribute to rebuilding efforts, or to encourage 'the powers that be' to get their collective butts in gear on it? What if the photos they took were taken home and shown to others, who in turn did a little to help New Orleans recover?
I don't know the whole story of these bus tours,but I do hope and pray that some good came out of what looks like exploitation of suffering.

thats all good what your saying and all but truth is these folks are just looking for ohhs and ahhs. now if you touch one out the thousands then thats a plus. but these tours or promoted like hey look at the awsome devestation of the storm. and thats what there paying to see.

Nice job guys - never thought about the city this way. Then again, I also assumed that things might be well on the way to being rebuilt by now.

But tour buses? Come on... That's a little much - you wanna know what it's like? Get out of the bus and lend a hand.
