When happens when a killer DM gets invited to a British party? Chris Perkins traveled to the UK to find out—in a celebrity game featuring Graham Lineham (comedy writer), Marty Jopson (presenter), Louise Champion (Orcs Nest games), Paul Moore (Patriot Games)—and Ian Livingstone (co-founder of Games Workshop).

  • I have to say that I am definitely a more cautious player than the guys of Acquisitions, Inc. are, so this RP session is definitely more my speed. Also, FYI, I'm saving these vids to my "Chris Perkins is an Awesome DM" playlist. :)

  • this would be a perfect adventure for me if it was just a little bit faster

my DM likes to make us "think on our feet", so to say

see all

  • I LOVE the look of relief once the rogue passes that stealth roll!

  • the elf is half of jedward

  • @BubblesTheMushroom I used to play with some other soldiers before I got out. The DM who taught me to play... quickly learned NOT to let me have time to think through the situation he puts me in. :D After I escaped from being 'held hostage' and got around his 'if you try to escape you'll most definitly die' situation. :D Envolved summoned wolves, greese, a portible hole, and a magic wall (What ever the spells are actually. :P been awhile, want to play again, noone to play with)

  • "Could you indicate that to us in some fashion?" This is just great for me and what D&D can be and should be all about. If you want to treat it like a video game, or you see it as a chance to try out your stand-up comedy then that's fine - whatever floats your boat - but this shows that it is quite possible to still play D&D as a role-playing game. Call me old fashioned, but the more D&D is played like Warhammer, the less I like it.

  • @bluthunda69 I have no idea, but I would pay good money to have him DM a session for me and my friends.

  • @Tr1sh4Lynn i love his dming as well does he do anything else besides this the gencon with RA Salvatore Robot chicken and Acusitions Inc stuff?

  • Since via hand signals all of the "heroes" are aware of the enemies at the beginning of combat, shouldn't they all roll initiative at the beginning of combat and thus be included in the surprise round, not after the first attack happens, like is done here?

  • these guys are smart they are just pro in rlue playng not just attcaking as an idiot

  • Chris is the best dm ever

  • God damn i need a game in Lillehammer norway!
