What a beautiful spider! I've seen these in the past, but never had a good chance to photograph them.

    Even with that lynx spider I fed her in tow, she still wanted to jump at the lens!

  • I thought that was a lynx spider. I loved the jump at the camera! Do they get big like Phidippus do?

    They are decent sized salticids - I should have filmed her on my hand for reference! She was maybe 12-13mm body length...
