Thank you. The Manhattan Bridge has thick cables and solid steel beams. The NYC DOT inspects it all of the time. It passed its latest inspection.

I just walked across the Manhattan Bridge today. It is safe. The bridge is solid steel. They reconstructed it in the 1980's. 400,000 subway riders use it daily. The people making these comments about the bridge know nothing about engineering.
