Learn how to cut magnets for your car with your Cricut! These were made using the GYPSY with the Cricut Expression, but you can use any of the cricuts alone too!

  • DS is Design Studio software that Provocraft makes for use with the cricut. You can fill a mat on your gypsy up and the cricut will cut it all out.

  • Thanks everyone!!

  • I really like the tips for vinyl and the cricut settings but I couldn't see the Gypsy screen. Do you have a magnet video using DS? I will probably never have a Gypsy unless it comes wayyyyy down in price. Thanks!

  • Sorry, I am not able to use my DS until I replace my laptop!! Ugh! Thank goodness for the Gypsy!

  • This was great....now where did you get the different gypsy or did you decorate it with with something?

  • It's one of the skins that Provocraft makes for the Gypsy! Isn't it cute!?

  • TFS. I tried this on my cricut and found that the settings you had for your machine were too high for my machine. I had to use a speed of med, pressure of med, deep cut blade at 4, and multicut of 4. I have a Purple Cricut Expression (Walmart BF 2010) so maybe each machine may be a little different? Anyhow, I thought I would let others know that you may have to adjust your settings for your particular machine.

  • Very informative, thank you for sharing!

  • Loved your video!! Very helpful-could you tell me what font you used for survivor.

    It really looked nice! Thanks

  • This is great being able to make magnets!! Thanks so much for sharing!!

  • The next time you make magnets, could you try using some other brand of magnet. I mean, is it really necessary to spend extra cash on the ProvoCraft magnet?

  • Hi. Great tips. Was wondering how you would do a two color ribbon?

  • DS is design studio a sofeware for the cricut

and images are loaded on the gypsy from the diffrent cartridges

  • Couple of questions--you mention DS, what is that and how is it used? And how do you get so many images on the gypsy for the cricut to cut?
