Actually the bridge is a bridge...it's just a string through bridge.

the second pickup (bridge?? idk) doesn't sound bad, it just has that creamy tone to it and it's meant to.

@R4R45 I just don't prefer it with what I'm playing. If that's what I was goin for, it'd be great!

Don't put an EMG in that. There are plenty of high gain pickups that actually have some character and stuff and don't sound bland and generic. You could put EMGs in a log and it'd sound the same as putting them in any guitar.

Take this from someone who used to put EMGs in all his guitars until I got sick of having 5 guitars that all sounded exactly the same.

i hate these new indonesian made squiers why did squier stop the japanese ones because they never had the quality control issues like these have its like i bought an indonesian standard squier tele online and i sent it back next day because the neck was unfinished and not smooth and the pickups were so tinny it sounded like a encore stater guitar so i switched to buying vintage guitars by jhs much better quality
