The intimidate variant to this scene was kinda funny. Instead of convincing him like this Shepard basically says. "Just kill yourself."

oh thanks. i had no idea. thats pretty cool. i just beat the game, i didn't do any side missions or anything.

Using your charm/intimidate skills makes him see reason and shoot himself.
However, he does turn into a sovereign controlled monster in the end, even though his brains are splattered against a wall somewhere.

Its funny that some ppl need to state the obvious. I think BIOWARE shouldn't have gave yhou the sex options.... It attracts such bad credibility and frankly if you're nerdy enough to purchase a game that has softcore les porn then I am sure you are nerdy enough to find some free porn site with some crazy fettish shite. No need for that crappy sex scene in such a great game.

It's true. I made a really goody little two shoes character that convinced Saren to kill himself. It was kinda dissapointing. Then fought his geth version.
