And on a closing note, Vlade Divac is not my favourite player or person, but he was a quality center, with more brains and skills than a heap of other NBA shmucks pretending to be playing now.
I could generalize about the NBA players (brainless, brute force, overpriced, sports shoe models with a few glorious exceptions) the same way you do about Europeans, but i know better. I admire the people who play this beautiful game well, and there is more to basketball than just catch, swivel, dunk.

Look up Sabonis, a center who could put in 3pointers in series, at the time when no other center did that. Had he come to the NBA before his injuries, you would have seen real aritstry in the court.

The players i mentioned are just the best that came to the NBA, in a time before the European players were valued enough, they were pioneers in a league where, at the time, ignorant idiots like you couldnt believe they had real skills, and didnt give them enough credit.

Look up Petrovic, whose death was the biggest loss for world basketball in the last century. Reggie Miller, proclaimed to be the best 3point shooter of the NBA ever, puts the quality of Drazen Petrovic above himself.

Look up Kukoč, best all around forward during the Bulls era, capable of ending the game by himself with salvos of 3pointers or mid range shooting, playing guard, play, forward or center, yet still disciplined and team oriented.
