Hey Joe it's me Taiyon. What BJ Penn does to work on his cardio (or part of his workout) is he does 5 25 meter sprints. FYI going for a cross armbar from side control is alot easier than going for a kimura. Kimura's are a bitch to apply.
Yeah, cardio is something I am struggling with. I am getting better each time, but I know there is a long way to go.
Round one I should have thrown a head kick instead of even thinking of the ground game. Giving him his guard back was a mistake. Speaking of ground game, I should have probably changed up my side control. the leg extended gives me more weight, but it makes it much tougher to drop strikes. I've done well so far, but I realize there is a ton of work to do and a lot to learn.
