  • Guys like Farage and his fellow European collectivism - hating comrades are living in a perpetual state of British imperial bliss. They perceive Britain as an enduring and timeless force in world affairs, hence their disgust at what they consider to be a dilution of its legacy through its integration into Europe. The reality is that in 30/40 years, we will live in a world of essentially 5 superpowers. China, India, U.S.A. Brazil and Russia.

  • @Eddiclight You missed out your favourite superpower - the EU????

  • @ukipwebmaster Note the absence of Britain? Simply put, our options are a significant and valued contribution to a potential European superpower, or Global obscurity and irrelevance. We will have descended into a lesser nation of greater pastimes!

  • @Eddiclight I think you are a megalomaniac.......

  • @Eddiclight the USA a superpower? Fucked economy. The USA is a hasbeen with a militart it cannot afford. As for you crap about Farage and the EU, you do NOT need the EU to create your laws for you to trade with them. I want to trade with the EU, dont be run by it.

  • Farage and UKIP are bang on the money...and I'm writing this 9 months after this broadcast. Ken Clark looks an idiot, Paddy Pantsdown is embarrassing to watch and that Labour woman clearly wasn't chosen for her intellect.

  • Finally, to anyone commenting in opposition to this stance, first do you actually know the name of your MEP because a staggering 97% of British people don't.

Does that not say something in itself, governed by diktat, from a parliament that is almost completely inaccessible to ordinary people. Is that a fitting democratic solution for the future.

Is it what Britain wants, I don't think so. Surely our own parliament is bad enough, without having a Government which is completely inaccessible.

  • Not only is the European Parliament a den of corruption, it is also a den of thieves and they are stealing your money to keep other countries afloat. We simply cannot afford that.

There are many justified reasons why we should come out of the EU, but none so important as the right to Govern our own country as we would see fit, or unfit as the case may indeed be.

Which is not the case under the European Parliament - The time to pull out has long past.

  • Not only is the CAP a jackass solution but Europe costs us billions each year and more besides when it comes to the bail out of other countries.

Would you allow the man down the street to come into your home and empty your purse. Not because he needs it for himself or because HIS business is failing, but because some business or bank somewhere abroad, is going out of business.

The answer is no, you would call the police..

So why do you allow our politicians under the EP to do exactly that?

  • We need a new direction in the UK, Britain needs to come home and its home is not in the EU, I have friends from all over the world, but it is not about the people, it is about the parliament and the politicians who oversee it.

The European Parliament is a veritable nightmare, an expensive dictat, one which we could well do without. The Agricultural policy is a nightmare and has many times forced British farmers, not only into difficulty, but also to throw away food.

  • @Eddiclight I believe what British people want is to not ally with anyone but the worlds problems its the turn of other nations to be in the sun

  • absolutely in`credible -Nigel is funny as all get out - and super smart

  • Its so hard to notice which person the audience supports.

Must be much hard to see what the UK people support, huh?

  • @1henryw all fine and well to get your own country in order, as far as being a global power, isn't that how this fucking mess got started?
