When I did it, I did not go that fast. I suppose that is why I didn't make the team.

This is one of those things that I want to do really bad, but I'd be too afraid to do it when the time came to go down the run.

uop is definitely one of my favorite places to slide

Love it! Starting from the tourist start only gave me a small taste of what I'm really after! I want to feed my need for speed!!

Cool, have fun. Utah Olympic Park didn't offer helmetcam rentals. So, I used my own gear, after getting permission from the park manager and informing the control tower (since you're normally not allowed to carry anything down the track).
I may get a chance to slide again next year, in which case I may post a higher-quality video.

Damn, brings back memories! I can't believe I did that! lol... What track is that from? sort of reminds me of COP, although thats the only track I've been on...

Hi! Cool to hear from a fellow skeleton slider. That's UOP (Utah Olympic Park) in Park City. It's similar to COP in Canada in some respects; however, a key difference is that only COP has a cool 360-degree "kreisel" loop.

I gotta ask, where did you keep the video recording unit?

I used industrial-strength velcro (from Home Depot) to attach the Viosport Adventure Cam II atop my helmet. The Canon ZR40 recording unit was in a fanny pack I purchased separately.
I plan to re-shoot this video next season, with some tweaks to make it clearer. This clip, and my other (non-helmetcam) skeleton sliding videos are on my site www.newsliders.com .
I eventually hope to use this helmetcam for snowboarding, ski jumping, drumming, baseball, and maybe even a dogcam.
