Lakewood Hospital Hope Program - Free Mammograms for Uninsured Women

Make one phone call that could save your life. According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer strikes one in eight women. When it is found early, the 5-year survival rate is 98%. Lakewood Hospital is pleased to offer the Hope Program, Free Mammograms for the Uninsured. Who is eligible for this free mammogram? Women who are not covered by health insurance and are age 40 and older, unless there is a family history of breast cancer.
How do I make an appointment? Call 216.529.7229. If necessary, transportation will be provided within a five-mile radius of the hospital. Any person screened who requires follow-up care, will be referred to the Breast and Cervical Cancer Program. This program is funded through a grant from the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
