This competition was organised by New Straits Time newspaper and RHB Bank.

A video of me competing for the spelling competition. Taken a while ago and sorry about the quality but it's watchable. xD

Words :
1.) RENEGE
2.) FORMALISATION
3.) INEPTITUDE
4.) CACHET (I knew the word but didn't know the pronunciation)

  • Don't look at the audience when you're spelling. You might get distracted. Basically, just focus. It's not that hard to do when you're up there on the podium. :)

Whenever a word pops into your mind today and you can't spell it, check the dictionary. Who knows what could happen tomorrow.

    Good luck, yeah!

  • Ahhh, best of luck. =D

Well,I have to say that I hope you're very lucky.

I guess if the process hadn't changed, you walk up to the mic when your name's announced, adjust it to your height, listen carefully and if you know the word already after the definition is announced, use the time when the announcer's giving you the sentence to form the word in your mind.

    Spell clearly. =)

Don't forget to say the word before and after spelling! Many of us forget when we're really nervous. xD
