Snowdon Jan 2011. Part 2: summit and descent

Each of my champions carried:
An apple, orange, Mars bar, 1 cheese slice, 2 Babybelle cheeses, box tictacs, 1 small carton orange juice,
1 ltr.of water. A rain poncho, an 'Adventure Medical Kit' bivvy bag, a small UK legal carry penknife, (boys also carried a small Gerber Vise multi tool each) torch.
I carried almost the same, except I was fasting so carried much less food. I carried a spare 1.25 ltr. of water in a Klean Kanteen stainless steel water container, a smoked sausage, half a loaf of sliced bread, an apple and a spare Mars bar. A UK legal Boker plus trance 42, a Leatherman juice multi tool, fire steel, lighter, 1 Trioxane bar, a hobo stove packed with sticks and some ready mixed coffee/sugar/powdered milk, compass, mirror, DC4sharpening stone, whistle, Streamlight stylus pro torch (small and bright), chap stick, pocket Bible.
Major wrist slap: forgot first aid kit !!! (hangs head in shame)
All together pretty light weight and I believe effective carry.
