The waving shopkeeper wanted money for taking his photo. The singing started after 5pm and was broadcast from loudspeaker horns hanging from the minarets. The Blue Mosque is on the right.

  • Well, the idea of Europe is very different from country to country. Europe is not only France, Germany, UK, Ireland, Benelux, Austria and scandivians countries. Europe is also Balcans, Spain, Italy and Portugal which have something in common with Turkey.

  • I was in turkey for 17 days. 10 in Istanbul. It was very interesting place. You knew you were not in europe. It was different than paris and london and berlin. Had great time. bought a carpet.
