Congratulations on your stunning recording of the Ode to Joy Cantata! I hope that one day you can talk one of the recording companies into doing the Polytechnic Cantata of 1872, as we sorely need a complete version of it.
Tchaikovsky's Cantata "Ode to Joy" lasts about 30 minutes and is to the same text as the Beethoven 9th finale (but translated into Russian) and for the same vocal, choral and orchestral forces. It ought to be played in the concert hall.
