Best rendition of this song ever!

@pamkayvan Thanks for your comment - - - I always did think L.R. had a fantastic voice - overshadowed by his wild image!

@mtsumusic I haven't heard this before either. I'm stunned also! I'm a TN native. So, he lives in TN..... Wow! I grew up listening to him. As outrageous as he could be at times... what a gifted talented man!!!

Dang! A voice of Little Richard I've never heard before. This is extremely pleasant. Wow, I'm stunned. He's come into my girlfriend's work a few times in Manchester, TN (Bonnaroo town) and I think he lives near Lynchburg, TN (home of Jack Daniel's)

This is a great version. My version is not as good as this I guess. Although you could listen to mine and tell me your opinion :)

he was a gospel singer before a rock n roller screaming lizzie wish you teach your son to sing like that if u dont know who hios son his its prince folks
I also really like the picture of him at 1:57. He just looks normal - like that's how he probably is in real life.

@mtsumusic He was a great looking guy - if he wasn't so outrageous! But what a voice - always felt his ‘real' voice overshadowed by his rock ‘n' roll... The rest of his Gospel album is great as well - get a listen!!

@ThomShelford I played this for my father and he thought it was Elvis singing! He couldn't even pinpoint it. It really does sound like a different person. But thank God he recorded music like this so we could enjoy this aspect of his voice.

@mtsumusic A pity he didn't record more Gospel stuff - or even more ballads - would have like to hear him do the 'Presley' thing!!

An excellent effort - though your voice sound much older than your supposed 17 years! Like the chorus - was it friends or lifted from a disc? Keep at it and good luck with your creations...

I remember reading in Charles White's book, about how everyone in the studio was particularly moved by Richard's singing during these sessions.

@gianni73701 I'm not surprised - he had a fine voice, full of emotion and soul - people tend to remember of his performances as only screaming rock ‘n' roll (fantastic in their own way, of course!)...
