Seamless bead effect? That looks terrible. The edges aren't straight and the dent you put on the top and bottom of the cover looks bad. If you use just the flat part of the pliers and not the cutout section, using light pressure, closing just a little at a time, and adjusting the position of the pliers to close one side and then the other, you can get the seamless look you need.
