Vocalmente es mejor que Buttler, aunque la virilidad y la manera en la que Buttler la canta me gusta mas. lo que si es que al que hizo la traducción-arreglo para esta obra maestra hay que crucificarlo, prenerle fuego y escupirle en la cara!

Actually, no. It's just coincidental that they sound like Butler. In actuality, for the foreign dubs of this movie, they simply cast the actors who were playing the respective roles in the stage version at the time. Juan Carlos Barona was playing the Phantom in the official Spanish production at the time of this movie, so they simply brought him in and had him sing the songs and overdub the dialogue. Same with the other actors.

It bothers me that most people are labeling the comments bashing Juan Carlos Barona and speaking in favor of Gerard Butler as spam yet they're thumbing up the comments that insult Gerard Butler and speak in favor of Juan Carlos. They're both great at singing, in my opinion. I was captivated by both versions! If you don't agree with a comment, please don't label it as spam and then go thumb up a comment that's roughly the same as what you just said was spam, but the opinion is the opposite!
