Here I am doing a run through of Coldplay's song "Yellow". I just did a little bit of tweaking on the bass drum and snare. I did not mix in with the song so you could here what my drums actually sound like.
I used my MacBook Pro with GarageBand. The audio interface I was going through was a Line6 Tone Port UX8. I used the CAD PRO mics with the exception of the condenser. Only used one and that was the MXL 991.

Where did you place the mic?

@JohnRyanWake The pictures show the close mic'ing. The MXL 991 was placed about four to five feet above, aimed down towards the snare.

gave you got the black suedes (remo) on your tom's when the answer is yes how do the sound and are they any good?

They are good if you want a thicker tom sound. They are pretty dull. The actual kit, besides the snare, are cheaply made and wasn't able to get a good sound outta them. :/ I'd assume those heads would rock on some nice toms.
