@ash95carino Anguish P has the same attack but can get purple sharpness (1.50x damage multiplier) with Sharp +1, and it gets quite a good margin of it. Lions bane only ever gets white sharpness (1.34x damage multiplier), so it's inferior by quite a bit. Without sharp+1 Anguish gets white sharpness by default while lions gets blue sharpness. The only advantage Lions has is you don't need conqueror seals to make it, just HR31+ jho event tickets, so you can make it before 6 star quests easily.

@ash95carino Lion's bane isn't even a good weapon for alat. Try Anguish (P) or something, atleast you can get purple sharpness with that.

Also it is technically impossible to kill alat under 1 minute in the US version of the game. His flinch times are too short and his stun resistance is much higher. You'd be eating fireballs and getting charged the whole time, not to mention landing the 30+ perfect charge hits you need to kill alat under 1 minute IS impossible by itself
