  • Yes, the aluminum monoque frame comes all welded up for you with all the attachment points for the suspension etc. Most everything is included in the kit besides the engine and trans.

    It's a RCR, Race Car Replicas, kit. It was the deluxe plus version and was $43K. Great kit and company to work with.

    6'5" isn't going to work, the GT40 was designed in the 60s when the average height was 5'8' for guys and race car drivers were even shorter.

    You need a Race Car Replicas Super Lite Coupe (SL-C), I'm building one of those now. Google "RCR SLC" and "Rapier RCR SLC" and you'll get some good info on the car. About $75K to build though.
