@stephanie1977 Same thing applies to me since I, too, was born in the late 70's and during the era that ABC became the juggernaut that had great shows such as Happy Days, The Love Boat, Dynasty, and voiceovers by announcer Ernie Anderson, father of filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson.
The ABC promos with the older ABC-TV logo(the animated loose letters 'a - b - c' moving and filling a rectangle space) were from the spring or summer of 1962, as they hadn't switch to the ABC Circle logo until the 1962-'63 season had begun by early October of 1962.
it's too bad that there are no promos for The Friday Night Soupy Sales Show here.

Yes as someone born in the late 70s that square logo was very odd. I had to look at it for a minute. But actually I really like it.
