Socialism doesn't work? Without socialism you wouldn't have any workers rights and be abused by your employer. You also wouldn't have an old age pension. Poor people wouldn't get any medical aid.

Radical? Me? LOL, there hardly couldn't be anyone more moderate. But you can just keep stigmatizing and stereotyping the Left and be blind to nuances. I think you have a talent for it.

Besides, your "free enterprise" isn't always as "free" as it seems because you are not allowed to trade with Cuba due to a trade embargo (interference by the US government). And before you go defend it, the same USA seems to find it completely acceptable to trade with communist China. Double standards much?

Yes, a marxism phobia, like Hoover & McCarthy had. You clearly don't know the difference between communism and socialism. Socialism accepts capitalism and the free market system but also has state owned companies. Social Democrats do not favour a totalitarian state. And no, neither Stalin nor Che are my heroes, so you can cut the crap about North Korea now. I'd like to have a t-shirt with Subcommandante Marcos on it however.

It seems like one of your comments has been deleted? It was in my inbox but I can't find it here. Yes, the founding fathers were racists as were most people of that era, even in Europe. Some, like Franklin and Washington were against slavery, others like Jefferson were in favour of it. Jefferson even had a sexual relationship with one of his slaves. And although Washington wanted to abolish slavery, he meanwhile spoke of Indians as "savages" and "redskins".

Marxism phobia? Well you clearly have a phobia for capitalism and "Liberty". People like me don't like Marxism nor socialism because it doesn't work, it only destabilizes a nation to become a marxist-leninist tyrannical super state like North Korea today.

Please search "Yuri Bezmenov" and "Milton Friedman" before you further make an ass of yourself around here you radical. I don't like Marxism because it's all a bunch of propaganda. Go look what Jon Voight has said about in in 2007...

There is NOTHING wrong with the term Latin American. All Spanish/Portuguese speaking American countries are Latin American, including Central America. Mexico, Honduras, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Belize, Guatemala, Nicargua are not in South America so what else are we supposed to call them? Keep your goddamn CIA on a leash! I'm supprized that not everybody was sacked after Watergate.
