Travels with Timi Gustafson: Canada, a Winter Wonderland

One of the best holidays I've ever had: Banff and Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada. Since I arrived a few days before Christmas, I had the place practically for myself. Fairmont Hotels runs both of these landmarks and they do fabulous work there. I love winter sports, especially cross country skiing, and the backcountry here turned out to be the perfect location. But more importantly, I could fulfill some of my dearest childhood dreams by taking a horse-drawn sleigh ride along the lake and a dog sled ride through the woods. Happiness is when you don't want to be anywhere else and wish the moment would never pass...
