OK, I have listened, gone to web sites and done what I could to find out about Brian McLaren and what he is teaching. I have not once heard him quote the Bible, either chapter and verse, or in part of a video about his book, or in any conversation. If you believe that the Bible is the mind of Christ, then what is Brian teaching? Is it "with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs" as the Bible instructs us? Does Brian teach the Jesus of the Bible?

Read the Gospel.

word...every choice, thought and action contributes to the heart and character development...and that is all we will be left with...our character, heart, and the difference we made in bringing His shalom to the world...change starts now, He is making all things new and we are invited to be a part of that...starting today is the goal, not only later...eternity starts right now with the next choice you make for the positive or negative...so rock on! </word.

Try reading some scripture besides Revelation for a change.

Read Psalm 15 for instance or the Beatitudes. Read the GOSPELS.... Luke 6 for example. These speak of the transformed heart you allude to.

I am not sure how you are missing the point on this or what to say. You can't just sit back and wait for doomsday and to cash in your fire insurance angainst Hell.

You're on your way to be a real stand up ethical POLITICIAN. But, I thought you were a follower of Jesus? So we make better businesses...so what? We should be determined to change our heats....Jesus wants your heart. This whole earth and everything in it will perish...fair trade and all.

Then what are you left with Mr. McLaren?
