The Chevrolet Impala is a full-size automobile built by the Chevrolet division of General Motors introduced for the 1958 model year. Deriving its name from the southern African antelope, Chevrolet's most expensive passenger model through 1965 had become the best-selling automobile in the United States, competing against the Ford Galaxie 500 and the Plymouth Fury when full-size models dominated the market. The Impala was distinguished for many years by its symmetrical triple taillights. The Caprice was introduced as a top-line Impala Sport Sedan for the 1965 model year becoming a separate series positioned above the Impala in 1966, which itself remained above the Bel Air and Biscayne. The Impala continued as Chevrolet's most popular full-size model through the mid-1980s. Between 1994 and 1996, Impala was revived as a muscular 5.7-liter V8--powered version of the Caprice Classic sedan. In 2000, the Impala was re-introduced again as a mainstream front-wheel drive full-size sedan.[3]
Ed Cole, Chevrolet's chief engineer in the late 1950s, defined the Impala as a "prestige car within the reach of the average American citizen."

Driver: San Francisco is a sandbox-style action driving video game developed by Ubisoft Reflections and published by Ubisoft. The game formally was unveiled at E3 2010 and was released in Australia on 1 September 2011, Europe on 2 September and North America on 6 September [2] on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360[6] and the OnLive[7] system,[7][8] while the Microsoft Windows version was released on 27 September 2011.[3]

  • Funny stuff. I test drove a used 07 SS model yesterday. Lets just say I didn't know they had V8s in em. lol I was like, damn this v6 has some power. Then I pulled out on a paved country road and aboslutely pealed out. I smell burning rubber so I pulled over, popped the hood and saw that v8. lol I thought, I'll bet I hit 4 mpg throughout my test drive. I'll be filling that damn thing up daily. lol

Very nice cars. If they could only meet my price on that I'd have one.
